Sunday Blues

I hate rain
It is depressing and worst of all it makes you very lazy.
I was supposed to work a baseball game on Friday but it of course got rained out, and  that was basically all I had planned for the entire weekend. So to say I didn't do much that took any effort would be an understament.
I watched three Braves games over the weekend and overall I am impressed by the efforts they are showing. This team has some heart for sure. They say that Markakis and Gomes are the kind of guys that wont let their teammates play any less than 100% and I feel like they are the leaders. I have been watching Chris Johnson loaf for two years now and all of a sudden he is scoring from first on a double. That is great to see. I don't know how good the Braves will be this year, but at least they are playing the game like it is supposed to be played. But lets admit it, they will lose Tuesday because we only have three good starting pitchers. The last two are worse than horrible.
I also watched some pro basketball and I came up with these quick observations. Dallas is terrible, Portland is overrated, San Antonio is way way old, and Golden State has as good a chance to win it all as anyone else. The Warriors are much more than a bunch of pretty boy 3-shooters. They can get physical .
I guess I have to mention the Hawks somewhere in here and I know I should be excited about them, but for some reason I am not. I just expect them to lay that egg somewhere. Everyone says its not a great year if they don't make the finals, but I say if we win a series its a success. So used to bad teams I don't know what to do with a good one.
