Its number two with my review of Glory Days

Okay I must admit that I decided to go with my second review out of convenience.
I had a buy one get one free coupon too.
So that is how I ended up at Glory Days on Tuesday afternoon and I would have to give it very positive remarks.
So I picked up my wife from her job at 11:45 AM and she had to be back at 1:00 PM. That didn't leave a whole lot of time but it ended up being plenty.

We both ordered sweet tea to drink and when I am looking for quality sweet tea, that means not tootie fruity sweet but one that tastes what my childhood tea at the Cordova residence tasted like. A hint of sweet is great but I don't want to drink sugar water.
Give Glory Days a solid B with the tea.

We ordered the pretzel bites as the appetizer and they were excellent although I thought 10.50 was a lot for pretzel bites. I tend to think everything is a bit over priced these days, but they were good and enough for two people.

Debbie (that's my wife of forever) had the sirloin which came with a salad and fully loaded mashed potatoes and I had the meatloaf with a salad (no jokes about me eating salad)and mashed potatoes.

The highlights of the meal were the fully loaded mashed potatoes and the salad which was crisp and clean tasting and not bad for lettuce. The potatoes had bacon bits ,butter chives and were very good.

Middle of the pack
The steak was cooked very well, a perfect medium but didn't really have any seasoning on it, but for 17 bucks not a terrible deal . Overall we were pleased by it. I would have liked it to stand out a bit more, but it was decent

The disappointment.
I did not care at all for the meatloaf. It was like a barbecue tasting meatloaf with a lot of pepper on it. Now  I am not saying it was terrible but we both estimated the two small, thin pieces to be about four ounces of meat. When my plate came out and remember my other side was my salad, my plate came out with about two ounces of mashed potatoes and the two thin pieces of meatloaf and that left over half of my plate empty.
I was pleased by the excellent service we had and also that the manager came by to see how everything was. That was a nice touch although I didn't tell him the small issues.

Glory Days is a good place to have a good meal especially when a sporting event is on and although it was a bit expensive, I feel like that will pretty much be the story as I review more restaurants.

I would rate everything as pretty damn good and I would urge you to visit. I would ask for Nikki because she was a great waitress who even laughed at my stupid jokes.

I also welcome questions and comments about what I am writing and I welcome questions about the great car dealerships of Macon lol.
